Petal Chain Stitch

Petal Chain Stitch

Being another branch of Chain Stitch, this stitch is named Petal Chain Stitch because the completed work looks like small petals. It can be done from any direction, right to left or left to right. It looks amazing as borders. Petal Chain stitch involves Lazy Daisy Stitch.

The process:

1. Pull out the threaded needle through A, insert it in B to pull it up again through the middle point C.

2. Now, partially insert the needle in C to bring it up through D. Loop the thread around the needle. Pull the threaded needle out.

3. Insert the needle in E and bring it up through F. Again take the needle down at C and pull up through B.

4. Continue the steps starting from 2 to 3.
